At IMPACT Barber Academy, our mission extends beyond the chair. We partner with schools, nonprofits, and community initiatives across Austin and Central Texas to provide more than just a haircut—we provide a path forward.
Our Community Pillars
We categorize our outreach into four core areas to ensure every resident of Austin has access to growth and dignity.
Youth Leadership & Education
We believe in investing in the next generation of Austin’s leaders through mentorship and literacy.
School Partnerships: We provide leadership development and life skills training at Dobie Middle School, Gus Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy, and Navarro Early College High School.
Literacy Advocacy: Through our partnership with Barbershop Books, we promote literacy awareness by creating child-friendly reading spaces within the grooming environment
Youth Events: Proud supporters of Kids Fest and Hope Fest, bringing grooming and encouragement to local families.
Career & Workforce Development
Grooming is a gateway to success. We help Austin's workforce put their best foot forward.
Vocational Growth: We offer insight into trade school and career opportunities to help individuals find sustainable paths in the barbering industry.
Soft Skills: Our curriculum for the community includes emotional intelligence education and professional empowerment.
Support for the Vulnerable & Veterans
We stand with those who have served our country and those facing housing or physical challenges.
Veteran Services: Active participants in Veterans Wellness & Unity (VWU) events to provide support and grooming for our local heroes.
Outreach for the Unhoused: Collaborative efforts with Mobile Loaves & Fishes and Austin Soup Kitchen Outreach to provide mobile grooming and essential services.
Community Empowerment
Community is at the heart of everything IMPACT Barber Academy does. We partner with local organizations to provide the next generation with the skills they need to succeed.
